Located in the stunning Kapiti Coast, F*nk with Food is the lovechild of a couple of experienced and passionate Kiwi chefs. With over 30 years in the industry between us, we’ve decided to follow our dream – and now here you are! We’ve lovingly crafted a selection of Bacon Jams, Bacon Relishes. What’s the difference between Bacon Jam and Bacon Relish?

Bacon Jam is lower in tomato concentrates and vinegars, giving it a jam-like consistency.

Bacon Relish is higher in tomato concentrates and vinegar which gives you the tang you expect from a relish.

Do your Bacon Jams and Relishes contain real bacon?

Absolutely! We only use premium diced shoulder bacon from Beehive – between 27-34%.

Are your Bacon Jams and Relishes gluten free?

Yes – though we are not certified gluten free. We don’t add any products that contain gluten.

How long are your Bacon Jams and Bacon Relishes shelf-stable once opened?

We recommend that once a jar is opened you refrigerate, and consume within 10 days.

If unopened then our range can be safely stored for up to 12 months.

What do you put Bacon Jam on?

What don’t you put it on! The choice is yours to play and add a bit of f*nk to your food. You consume it like a typical condiment... only much faster!

We also love to use it to glaze chicken wings or pork ribs, in toasties, into pasta sauces, and even as a pizza base – the list goes on!

We prefer to use Bacon Jam in our cooking as it handles being reintroduced into heat the best.

What do you put Bacon Relish on?

Again – what don’t you put it on! It’s super flexible, so have some fun and add a bit of f*nk to your food. Consume it like a typical condiment.

We truly use our Bacon Relish range as a table condiment accompanying almost anything – burgers, antipasto platters, sandwiches, whipped into mayonnaise or cream cheese, or added to vinaigrettes.
